Chèvre Miami
Crottin de Champcol
Crottin de Champcol
One of our favorite cheeses, its name doesn’t do it any justice! Translated as “horse dung” in French, because of the shape of the cheese, Crottin is produced in small 2 cylindrical buttons made using pasteurized goat milk.
It is a cheese that is slightly aged, so it is firmer than other goat cheeses that share a similar appearance. Made in the Loire Valley, this cheese has a rich and creamy flavor with hints of grass and salt. It is a pasteurized version of the AOC cheese “Crottin de Chavignol”.
